Requirements and Competencies
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to repair and maintain the following systems: high-speed packaging equipment, pumps, valves, gearboxes, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Experience with lathes, mills, broaching, general shop equipment (drill presses. vertical/horizontal band saws, hydraulic presses) measuring and hand tools.
  • Ability to read and fabricate parts from blueprints and ISO drawings.
  • Knowledge of safety policies and procedures.
  • Pipefitter/welding skills are a plus.
  • Shift work is required.
  • Experience in manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Minimum five year machinist/millwright experience preferred.

  • Maintain and troubleshoot equipment.
